Good morning all. Mashup 114 featuring Chuck Prodonick is live right now catch it HERE.
On this side we’ve entered day 6 on the road and along the way we’ve ran into some of you lovely people from the podcast community. It started when we left Bow Island I got a text saying “hey how about you stop in here?” A quick phone call and a small detour ended us up at Dan & Candy’s ranch.
Two days spent in Calgary at the Bitcoin Rodeo (Thanks Dave Bradley for the invite) had me running into a lot of you wonderful people. A few podcasts guests as well. You notice Yakkstack and Marty Up North. Here in July a series of Bitcoin interviews will be coming out as I wrestle with this idea more. I will be curious all of your thoughts on these as they drop. Make sure to fire me a text when they do.
Sheldon (Yakkstack) and Marty.
Shanon and Tobey have come to every live show I’ve done (I believe) and of course I ran into them at the Bitcoin Rodeo. One thing I’ve always been amazed with when it comes to the podcast audience is how many genuine people listen and then when I finally meet you, none of you disappoint.
Sitting down with Takota Coen. An Albertan who discusses agriculture and Bitcoin.
JP Sears and I after we did a podcast which will air Monday.
On Day 5 we left bright and early with multiple stops before we got to our current location of Kelowna. Above is the family at Emerald Lake, if you are ever in the neighbourhood I promise its worth the time.
While driving through Armstrong, BC I got to introduce the family to Lucy and Mila who for Mashup listeners paid to have a Trudeau jingle made. These girls are awesome and if your ever in the neighbourhood make sure to stop in and grab one of their delicious ice cream cookies. Check them out HERE at Udderly Ice Cream.
We are chilling in Kelowna until Sunday with Grant and Kathleen (another two people from the SNP community). We head south next towards the state of Idaho and hopefully will be able to provide a few more updates as the road trip continues.
Cheers.
