It has been a busy few days.

For multiple reasons I love this time of year; the days are getting longer, the snows beginning to melt and I get to strap on the skates in the annual Neversweats tournament. This year marked the 40th year for the tournament here in Lloydminster. Over the years on the podcast I’ve interviewed many Neversweat alumni and got to hear their stories first hand.

They’ve got one of the best jerseys to date with the turtle. They still have men who are in their 70’s playing most games and they travel around the world playing hockey. Essentially they’ve become hockey lore in this area.

Below is our team from this weekend with my three older brothers, my college roommate, one of my groomsmen and then a great group of friends. Love getting together and winning helps too.
