I'm not sure why Charlie Kirk's death affected me quite so profoundly, but I'm really struggling. Upon hearing that he had been shot, my boss was celebrating. I was so disappointed, but after being "othered" pretty hard during covid, I shouldn't have been surprised. Since 2021 I've lost my brother, Dad, Mom, 3 aunts, cousin, and on July 2 my best friend who I don't know how to live without. Charlie was the culmination of all those losses. I feel a profound shift in the energy of the world. I can't put my finger on it, but change is happening and I think it's well overdue. People just can't endure the kind of fear and stress we've been subjected to in the last 5 years.
First and foremost, my sincerest condolences for all that you've lost.
There are never any words.
However, LOVE transcends beyond all barriers and I send you mine on Wings of Angels at the speed of Light.
May the LOVE and PEACE that far surpasses all understanding wrap around you warmly, snugly and protectively as you wade through your grief.
One step at a time, one day at a time.

You are correct Friend.
Charlie's murder is a culmination, the Turning Point if you will, of what we have all gone through for the last decade (at least).
Each of us, in my opinion, have some form of PTSD because the realization that the foundation we once thought solid, is not, and we experienced, daily, the Fight or Flight mode, which is never to be continual.
It was.
Caused by those we thought we could trust the most.
Anger, sadness, loss, shock, and the gut punch, delivered to all, by a single bullet, brought reality up front and center.
The "shot heard around the world" gave rise to emotions that have been squelched and voices that have been silenced for far too long.
Then, when one confronts the evil, the blackness, of people you know, people on tv, people on social media, dancing on the grave of a fellow human being, a dad, a husband, a friend, who's only mission was reaching out to the Youth...well, that reality is harsh.
He was a threat because they could not/can not debate logic and common sense.
Their only recourse, always, is violence. In word, action or deed.
The profound shift you're feeling is REAL.
[They] have been dancing with the devil for way too long, and GOD is being called on, by The People, world wide, to come back.
The shift you're feeling, and seeing, is a return to sanity, compassion, LOVE and dialogue.

And that call, is being answered.
THE TURNING POINT.
Stand Strong
Remain Steadfast
Keep the Faith
Trust God
And never, EVER, quit.
