Week 'n Review

  • He surprised me with why George Orwell wrote 1984 that is it being a warning for us about if the Fabian Society took control for 100 years. You might ask why does this matter? It matter to me because I had just finished Ayn Rands books (Atlas Shrugged & Fountain Head) and the thought I was wrestling with was why are all these books being written at the same time. With the addition of his thoughts it seems that there are different groups of people who operate not in the next day, week, month or even year, but in the mindset of decades or even centuries. When I think about where I want to be I am trying hard to plan further into the future than who’s coming next on the podcast. If they can do it. We can do it.
